How a consultation request works

Begin without a BarnPilot subscription.

Tell us about your horse and choose a preferred three-hour window for your session. Initial remote evaluations use live video through Google Meet.

  1. Your details.Name, phone number, email entered twice, and your horse's Florida location.
  2. Your horse and concern.Essential horse details, your concern, and optional attachments.
  3. Arrange the session.Choose a preferred time and review the care disclaimer.
  4. Review and pay.Review your $99.99 session fee and pay securely through Stripe before your appointment. Your selected available window is confirmed after payment.
  5. Confirmation.Call instructions, followed by secure access to the veterinarian's report when ready.
  6. Prescriptions and supplements.A prescription is not guaranteed. If clinically appropriate, the treating veterinarian may issue one. A separate pharmacy dispenses and fulfills prescribed medication; HorseVetNow does not prescribe, dispense, or fulfill it. Medication and supplements cost extra. HorseVetNow may send a separate itemized invoice for these costs; this does not mean HorseVetNow prescribes or dispenses medication.

Do I need a BarnPilot subscription to request a visit?

No. Florida horse owners can request an online horse vet session through HorseVetNow without a BarnPilot subscription. Enter your email twice to check for typing mistakes. No email code is required to begin.

Is HorseVetNow emergency care?

No. If your horse is having an emergency or needs urgent attention, contact a nearby veterinary clinic or equine emergency service immediately. Do not wait for an online appointment or response.

Does a booking guarantee treatment or a prescription?

No. A booking is a consultation request subject to veterinarian availability, clinical eligibility, and Florida requirements. It does not guarantee a diagnosis, treatment, or prescription. Only the treating veterinarian decides whether a prescription is clinically appropriate and issues it. HorseVetNow does not prescribe, dispense, or fulfill medication. Controlled substances are not prescribed through this service.

What happens to my horse record?
