HorseVetNow, powered by BarnPilot

Florida equine telehealth service

Equine veterinary telehealth for Florida horse owners.

Start an online horse veterinarian consultation request in English or Spanish. Describe your horse and concern, verify your email, and request an appointment with a BarnPilot-approved Florida veterinarian.

Veterinarian, appointment, and language availability varies. A request does not guarantee diagnosis, treatment, or prescription.

Urgent care boundary

HorseVetNow is not an emergency service.

If a horse may need urgent or emergency attention, contact a local veterinarian or equine emergency service now. Do not wait for an online booking response.

How a consultation request works

Begin without a BarnPilot subscription.

Your protected information stays inside BarnPilot's single identity and data authority. You can use HorseVetNow first and decide later whether to activate the broader BarnPilot product.

  1. Start with contact and location.Tell us how to reach you, confirm that the horse is in Florida, and choose English or Spanish.
  2. Describe the horse and concern.Add basic horse details, the presenting concern, onset, severity, medications, relevant history, and primary veterinarian.
  3. Confirm your email and continue. We will send a one-time link or code so you can securely save your horse's information and return to it later.
  4. Choose what to share.Select the records, photos, videos, and other information you permit the assigned veterinarian to review.
  5. Request an available appointment.Choose an appointment language and time supported by an approved veterinarian with verified language capability.
  6. Review the visit boundary.BarnPilot calculates enrolled or non-enrolled eligibility and price on the server before any future payment step.

English and Spanish consultations

Choose the language for the appointment.

HorseVetNow offers access to approved Florida veterinarians who can conduct equine telehealth consultations in English and Spanish, subject to veterinarian and appointment availability.

Matching uses each veterinarian's verified language capability. If no qualified veterinarian is available in the requested language, HorseVetNow will say so clearly and offer safe next options. It will not switch languages without your choice.

Spanish clinical and legal language requires professional review before production use. Any reviewed translation remains connected to one canonical signed record and its audit history.

Veterinarian matching

Horse context helps find an eligible veterinarian with relevant experience.

Intake asks only for practical facts that support scheduling and veterinarian fit. Unknown optional details do not remove every option.

Horse profile

Name, known date of birth or estimated age, breed, life stage, sex and reproductive status when relevant, activity level, competition status, and current use.

Discipline and use

Choose a primary use and optional additional disciplines such as hunter, jumper, dressage, eventing, western, racing, endurance, driving, polo, breeding, pleasure, retired, or companion. No riding discipline is forced onto a horse when it does not fit.

Concern and availability

Presenting concern, onset, severity, relevant history, Florida location, appointment language, and scheduling availability support eligibility and ranking.

Hard gates come first: approved active Florida provider status, appointment language, consultation type, and availability. Eligible veterinarians may then be ranked by verified experience areas. The recommendation explains its factors in plain language and never makes a diagnosis or replaces veterinarian judgment.

Pre-appointment evidence

Share selected photos, short videos, and existing records securely.

After verification, a client may attach supporting material to the correct horse and intake. Practical categories include the presenting concern, movement or gait video, wound or skin photo, medication label, laboratory result, imaging report, discharge instructions, vaccination record, prior veterinarian record, and other supporting documents.

Each item stays labeled Client provided until a veterinarian reviews it. The client can remove unsubmitted items and chooses exactly what the assigned veterinarian may view. The original remains distinct from any later veterinarian-reviewed and signed clinical record.

Uploads do not replace the live consultation or an in-person examination when one is needed. HorseVetNow does not claim that a photo, video, document, or automated analysis provides a diagnosis.

Powered by BarnPilot

One identity and one horse record from the first verified intake.

A HorseVetNow-first client does not enter a separate application or database. The same verified identity, provisional horse, selected media, consultation, signed record, and follow-up history can later support the full BarnPilot experience without a migration.

Non-enrolled visits remain available.

Monthly per-horse access is optional. A non-enrolled horse may request a visit at the higher non-member price. Production amounts remain unset.

Clinical decisions stay with the veterinarian.

Any visit summary begins as a draft summary for veterinarian review. The assigned veterinarian edits, approves, and signs the permanent record.

BarnPilot remains the broader platform.

Clients may later activate BarnPilot for horse records, schedules, media, account-owned cameras, and equestrian operations using the same identity and horse history.

Common questions

Clear expectations before you begin.

Do I need a BarnPilot subscription to request a visit?

No. You can begin a HorseVetNow intake and request a non-enrolled consultation without a BarnPilot subscription. Before protected information is saved or resumed, you verify your email through a short-lived link or code.

Are consultations available in English and Spanish?

HorseVetNow matches the selected appointment language only to an approved veterinarian with verified capability in that language. English and Spanish availability depends on the veterinarian and appointment time.

Is HorseVetNow emergency care?

No. If a horse may need urgent or emergency attention, contact a local veterinarian or equine emergency service now. Do not wait for an online booking response.

Does a booking guarantee treatment or a prescription?

No. A booking is a consultation request subject to veterinarian availability, clinical eligibility, and Florida requirements. It does not guarantee a diagnosis, treatment, or prescription.

What happens to my horse record?

The verified identity, horse, intake, consultation, and signed record stay within BarnPilot's single account and data authority. You can later activate the broader BarnPilot experience without moving or duplicating that history.
